"I received a notice of tax deficiency from the IRS. Initially I attempted to resolve it myself, but that failed miserably. A friend suggested Christina, so I went in for approx one hour consult. She went through the paperwork I had, got me to authorize her to represent me (power of attorney) and then said 'leave it with me, I'll make the calls and sort it out'. Christina is an enrolled agent, so this is what she does.She spent a few hours on the phone with IRS, keeping in touch with me regularly through email and phone, ultimately resolving exactly how much I had underpaid, and producing all the paperwork needed to close the mapper. On top of this, she also went back and amended my CA state return based ion the changes to federal. This lady is very thorough! At the time she charged $100 per hour, which I though was pretty reasonable to help solve my problem.Once that was all wrapped up, I had to prepare my 2011 returns, a much moire straightforward process, but one I was also very happy with. It's hard to find a good accountant, and I think I'll be sticking with Christina from now on."
